Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to support our local Dallas, TX clients. These opportunities vary from project-based to full-time open positions. Summary:

This position provides clerical and operational support to logistics management. The Logistics Coordinator ensures accurate data entry, timely processing of SAP transactions, and proper documentation for inbound and outbound logistics activities. The role supports compliance with company and regulatory standards while maintaining efficient material flow and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry and complete recurring SAP transactions, including receiving transactions.
  • Coordinate paper flow and maintain filing systems for logistics documentation.
  • Respond to inquiries related to logistics documentation, production orders, and receiving instructions.
  • Compile and maintain records of materials received or kitted, including time, date, quantity, source, and destination.
  • Input data into logistics systems and prepare charts and reports from logistics databases.
  • Participate in regular inventory audits to detect and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support import documentation processes, including compiling and maintaining bills of lading, pro forma invoices, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and other customs documentation.
  • Interpret documented logistics rules, past practices, or instructions on a semi-independent level.
  • Identify and resolve problems as they occur, taking appropriate steps in situations that are not highly complex.
  • Report to the Logistics Manager and take day-to-day operational direction from Logistics Supervisor(s).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or clerical support roles.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel required).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently on tasks.
  • Knowledge of import/export documentation and compliance requirements is a plus.
